Bolton vs Mallory Debate?
Pay Your Taxes Dale! And Where is Markus? The Cincinnati Enquirer politics blog has an item on a potential debate between Even Bolton and Dale Mallory.
But Phenice said the Mallory campaign preferred a debate on "neutral ground'' - not in College Hill and not in the West End, Mallory's home neighborhood, where he was impeached as community council president in February.
It is hilarious that the Mallory Camp doesn't want the debate in the West End, where Dale Mallory was impeached and removed from office. Priceless.
Yesterday Channel 12 had a news story of 25 of Dale's neighbors gathered around a boarded up building that Dale owns (and doesn't pay taxes on). It was the same boarded up building that Markus Jenkins claimed to live in for the purposes of a law suit. That same law suit got thrown out of court yesterday.
As far as the debate goes, Dale Mallory will not debate Eve Bolton again. The were on a newsmakers show together with Dan Hurley, and Mallory got destroyed. You can view that online here.
It would look bad if Mallory came out and said no to a request for a debate. His game plan is to stall and then say that they didn't have the time to set up an appropriate venue. The last thing that Dale Mallory wants to do is answer questions to the general public. He is running for public office yet he can't be found for comment.

"The critics have been fighting Mallory over the City Link Social Services Center, and led his impeachment at the West End Council. Mallory sued his critics over that, along with a co-plaintiff who was supposed to be living at the boarded up building. That lawsuit was thrown out Tuesday afternoon.
Mallory responded to his critics' charges with a statement: "This is the kind of despicable, mud-slinging people have said they don't want in politics. This is a desperate action by desperate people. Unfortunately, my family has had to deal with these kinds of wild accusations and attacks for years."However, Mallory would not do an on-camera interview, thus avoiding questions about the back taxes and the person supposedly living in a vacant building."

Dale will find an excuse and never debate.
The fact that he admits his West End is hostile ground is priceless.
After the newsmakers experience I wouldn't debate either if I was Dale. Dale needs to stay away from the cameras and hide behind the Mallory name. That is his only viable strategy at this point.
On a previous blog, someone stated the Cincy EZ site is up. It is & nothing has changed. Same old info. (I guess Harold's back from the stalls.)
I'm glad Eve put the call out there for a debate. Dale isn't going to step in that, not after exposing his true nature on Newsmakers & again after Channel 12 pulled the curtain aside on him. The best thing he can do is sit in the back room at Junebug's until after the Primary & keep his mouth shut.
I don't think Channel 12 is finished with him yet. We'll have to see.
Dale doesn't want to answer any questions about the empowerment zone and the pending investigation.
Dale appointed a convicted felon the board. That alone needs looking into.
the truly sad thing is, hiding from the media and shunning the debate may actually work for Dale. If anyone hits the polls that isn't up to speed on what's going on, who do you think they'll vote for?
Marcus was just on the Buzz. He said he never said that he lived in the West End--just developing property. He also said Eve Bolton was a "dyke" and that was bleeped but he claimed that she told the Enquirer that she is married to a woman.

We will just dig up the sad facts on why Dale should not be voted for on Tuesday.

He'll get his Judge in a few days. I know this has to be a big relief to the Lawson Law Offices. They've got a charge they can plea deal with, the Violation of the Protective Order.
Regardless, Howdy's going to Lucasville, but Lawson & Nate'll be able to claim a huge victory on a plea package.
