Kim Hale has officially entered the race against Dale Mallory.
Republicans make matchup switches
Kimberly Hale, 38, will run against Democrat Dale Mallory in the 32nd Ohio House District, which covers central Cincinnati neighborhoods from downtown to College Hill. A West End resident, she owns a graphics business.Good luck to Kimberly Hale. She has done well in leading the charge to save her community from the CityLink homeless mall which was to be located next to three schools and a playground. Her next mission is to prevent a criminal from holding office and representing the entire 32nd. If Dale Mallory isn't good enough for his own community council, he isn't good enough for you.
She replaces Mike Poast of North College Hill, who dropped out of the race after moving out of the district.

Prominent Cincinnati attorney Ken Lawson owes more than $660,000 in back taxes to the federal government.I have some suggestions for Mr. Lawson on how he could cut costs in terms of payroll. I doubt productivity would suffer.
The tax troubles cover at least the past five years and have resulted in the seizure of Lawson's 37-foot boat, "Law Dog." The Internal Revenue Service seized the boat in May and will auction it next week.

7:19 AM on the previous message thread had a great recap of the Marcus Jenkins show at yesterday's Republican meeting.
The Mallory camp must be s**ting in thier knickers. To roll out that phool Marcus waving the ol race bait card seems like an act of desperation.
Had Mike Poast been the candidate, the Mallory Mafia would have ignored it, because Poast was no threat.
But the Mallorys learned the Hale yes! army is out in force and they saw the superior numbers and commitment at the College Hill 5-k and the Black Family Parade.
Hale's army is motivated and is a large group of democrats, independants and republicans that are determined not to allow that corrupt thief Dale go to Columbus. Dale stole the WECC money and he belongs in jail!

As for me, I've got several items on my list I'm pursuing & chasing down for Kim. I'm putting out the call & the challenge to all those who want change, want progress & above all, who want honesty & integrity. It is up to us to make the changes, & end criminality & corruption. It is up to us to ensure we get the representation we've had to live without for so many years. What has Cathy Barrett done for you? With Dale Mallory, it will be more of the same, with a heaping dose of continued criminal behaviors.
It is imperative that we ensure that Dale is soundly defeated, & it sounds like Kim's off to a rolling start by blasting Marcus "Fatmouth" Jenkins. Way to go, Kim!

Ken Lawson really is ill. I heard it is either Lou Gehrig's Disease or MS. Neither has a good prognosis.

When you have been screwed over the way we have, it's hard to be nice.
CityLink has cost us tens of thousands of dollars of legal costs.
Dale's two frivolous lawsuits cost us additional thousands.
Then Dale stole our WECC funds.
Then Mallory/Beatty thugs did a vandal spree.
Add on the lies and the extortion and death threats.
And then CPD says "they work for the mayor" and look the other way.
Dale, the Mallorys, the Beattys and the EZ are screwing us all.
The truth squad is working hard to stop the corruption.
We will be real nice and throw a great party when Kim wins in November.

Muffet, as I understand it, Lawson has Lou Gehrig's disease.
That has NEVER come into play here & it NEVER will. Many of us have family & friends who have been stricken with illnesses that modern medicine doesn't allow for recovery.
Lawson is what he is. And he's left plenty of devastation & mistrust among residents in this city. All of his own free choosing by his mere association with those of tarnished & criminal character.
I'm a firm believer that the Universe pays back people of that sort. When they least expect it & when they cannot afford to have it happen.

I agree; I wish we could remain civil all the time, and every now and then say something I think things are going a bit too far... however having seen some of the crap over on the N8s blog ... I think the stuff over here much less vitriolic... but I think your point never hurts for us to consider when we post as I think the more we remain on the high road the better it will be for us.

I understand both sides of the law dog comments. When you feel people have dogged you(pun intended). It's hard to be nice. And the Bible does say, God is not mocked, you WILL reap what you sow. If it is true for the rest of us, it is for him also.
I just looked up Ken Lawson's wife and found out she is of all things a psychiatrist. I just think that is too ironic, all things considered.
I'm not saying you don't have real gripes here. You do. I'm glad you're going after the ones who have done wrong. I'm just saying, it's better to attack the activity rather than the person. Comments about suits and smells and vitriolic personal attacks won't get anyone anywhere. It might make you feel better, but it won't solve the problem.
Maybe we all should read the book "Tuesdays with Morrie."

By the way, it's not only Crossroads Church that is trying to do their "work" in neighborhoods where they don't belong. The Hyde Park Community United Methodist Church is trying to put a big box in a neighborhood, in the side yard of homes, to try to compete with Crossroads in Oakley. People there are fighting these mega-churches, too. A great majority of the members of the church don't live in Hyde Park. Let them put it in Mason. That's where everybody seems to live these days that want to mess with old, established neighborhoods.
I had heard in passing that Charlie Winburn wanted to start some sort of an effort that bordered on the CityLink concept in College Hill. I'm sure that's just talk, as I haven't seen anything or heard further chatter about it.

Carstairs is up to his/her neck in the ugly stuff generated by the Mallory/Beatty/N8 crew. Carstairs will never intentionally hurt the Truth Squad cause. I'm sure Carstairs will read this and tune up the PC meter and be more judicious regarding language.

Anybody know when Mrs. Hale will have her website up? I noticed someone already has haleyes.com, I was hoping she'd be able to use it. I don't live in the district, but have been following all this pretty closely for the last several months.

Hello...hello, is anybody home? I haven't seen any new comments or news about Mrs. Hales campaign. I find it odd that neither she or Dale Mallory has a website, I realize Mallory's hiding so uninformed voters will think their voting for his father or one of his brothers, I guess. Is no news good news?
