Is the Dam about to break?

Council members call for audit of nonprofit group

"An embezzlement charge against the former director of Invest in Neighborhoods has prompted two Cincinnati City Council members to call for an audit of the group.

Laketa Cole and Chris Bortz said they want to ascertain whether any financial irregularities occurred during the tenure of Gerald Tenbosch, who was arrested May 9 on a felony theft charge. Tenbosch is accused of embezzling more than $16,000 from the Finneytown Athletic Association, of which he was treasurer. Cole and Bortz asked for the audit Wednesday in a letter to City Manager David Rager.

Hats off to Laketa Cole and Chris Bortz. The first place they should look in my opinion is disbursements to the West End Community Council. Dale Mallory still hasn't turned over any of the records since his impeachment in February. Someone from City Hall is going to have to ask for those documents, they belong to the West End Community Council.

Why should D4S give the money back?
He stole it fair and square.
One of his many "emoluments".
He has designated scapegoat Esther Williams to go to jail for him. Dale always has a fall guy to protect him from the consequences of his thievery. Mallory Mafia rule #1 "I'm a Mallory" rule #2 see rule #1.

Let's try the ByLaws of Invest In Neighborhoods and look at the phrase "must be a member in good standing of a community council" and ask if that applies to Mallory, Dale B. Or is impeachment a badge of honor?

Mr. Wolverine, Jr. makes a salient point. Dale should be tossed out of that organization's board immediately.

And I agree with 5:30 that Dale's girlfriend Esther Williams is going to take the fall. She is the WECC treasurer, and she spent the better part of last year in a psych ward. Only in the West End.

This investigation is going to put her back in the looney bin. Dale will have to find himself a new piece of ass.

I can sympathize with Mayor Mallory. My brother Billy caused all sorts of public image problems during my political career. I didn't bottle up my frustrations, I took them out on the American people. And you think gas prices are bad now. Malaise forever.

Woo Hoo! I believe the dam has sprung a leak! (BTW, love the pic!) I certainly hope Bortz & Cole can get to the bottom of this. It's too bad we can't count on Cranley hopping in on the finances.

First, Dale needs to get off that IIN board immediately. His wiggy buddy, Tenbosch is history & Dale needs to get off.

Second, all of us need to give Bortz & Cole the info they need to do a full & thorough search. I trust the Truth Squad Special Forces will tune into B & C on a regular basis to check progress. In other words, we need to stay on this & not let it fall down that black hole that exists at City Hall.

I predict the dam will break loose before Council members go on Summer break.

How can someone who is not longer an officer of the WECC be in control of the WECC bank account?

Tenbosch uses the "I forgot" defense.
Other famous defenses:
San Francisco Mayor Killer...the Twinkies made me do it.
Ted Keddedy's son....It's the sleeping pills.
Ted Kennedy on Mary Jo....I went home to take a nap.
Mark Mallory in Dec and again in Jan...."I didn't know you couldn't have private meetings."
Nixon's press secretary....that statement was "non-operative".
Dale Mallory...."I was not impeached" "I will run the March.. April WECC meeting"
The Mallory Mafia clan is making the hall of fame denial list.

What's the deal with Cranley? Is he in the Mallory's pocket?

10:12 PM

I have never heard that. Cranley is a straight shooter as far as I can tell. Sometimes he needs a nudge though.

I have a long memory.
Cranley sided with the old "fab four" and Mr. Bubbles to end the 13th St. barrier. Big mistake and pissed off the police that had good results from this idea.
I never trusted Cranley after that.

I also think that Cranley voted to keep that famous knife & gun club, The Ritz, operating, too. I think he's one of the Famous Five who supported the continuation of the liquor license. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this account.)

But he was in on the barrier removal & in Mr. Bubbles' pocket on that one.

However, seeing he's the chair of the Finance Committee, someone needs to put several firecrackers under his posterior & get him in motion. He's still on our local dime & he needs to produce.

Get Leslie Ghiz in on this one! She's hot to trot on money accountability. This is something she'd love to take on. And she's not afraid of confronting the Mafioso Mayor, either.

How does Wm. L. Mallory senior celebrate mother's day?
With Mark's mother?
or
Joe's mother?
or
Dwane's mother?
or
Wm. Junior's mother?
or do all his girlfriends and their kids go to the new homestead in Mt. Airy and celebrate the Mallory Mafia myth that there is only one nuclear biological family of straight people headquartered on Dayton Street?

Dale on the other hand had no Mother.
He was found slithering under a rock like the good bottom feeder he is.
Nate sends his Mother's day card to Dale and Junebug because he came out of the sodomite fudge factory of that union.
Junebug's going to gun down Nate for talking too much, doesn't like to be ID as a sodomite. Que lastima.

Two things - I contacted Leslie Ghiz's office early Friday, asking her to get involved in this Tenbosch/IIN/Cleveland/Noah Stern/Cincy EX business. I asked that it be fast tracked, so that there's something, anything before City Council adjourns for the Summer.

2nd item - check out Saturday's Whistleblower on Tenbosch. That old fat man has been put on the right track.

Yes indeedy. That dam has sprung a serious leak.

From the Magpie Whistleblower's Saturday edition (something other than Jean Schmidt):

Reports are that one Gerald Tenbosch, 55, was arrested for felony theft, supposedly having stolen $16,500 from the Finneytown Athletic Association.

Is that the same Gerald Tenbosch, in his mid-fifties, who, since the late '90s, has been the City of Cincinnati's director of its Federal block grant money programs? Is it the same Gerald Tenbosch who's responsible for the city's Neighborhood Support Program? Is it the same Gerald Tenbosch who was once the only competent director the city ever had to oversee the allocation of, and accountability for, Federal money given to the City of Cincinnati? Is it the same Gerald Tenbosch who more recently impressed community volunteers as having become a bit loosey-goosey about demanding regular accounting from recipients of Federal money, plus periodic audits of Federal funds spent in City of Cincinnati programs?

Of course, the Finneytown athletic supporter might be a different person. There must be oodles of local men in their mid-50s, all bearing the common name of Gerald Tenbosch. The Gerald Tenbosch we heard on the radio says he can’t remember what happened to the $16,500 and he also has diabetes.

Also, here's a Court House update on Dale's buddy:

C/06/CRA/16724
He appeared at the Arraignment desk yesterday, asked for a continuance (so he could get an attorney), so his next date is 5/26. Perhaps Dale will arrange for Limp D^&k Lawson to represent him.

And here's the kicker. Somebody forgot to write down the bond amount. No matter. Tenbosch has been cut loose from the jail on Sheriff's Release. Which means the jailhouse is full AGAIN. Why they couldn't bus him up to Butler County is anyone's guess. Oh, his diabetic problem. I forgot. The Butler County Sheriff serves that jail meatloaf that's made from all sorts of stuff, including 10 year old Twinkies & last Easter's Peeps.

Mr. Bubbles does not have pockets deep enough to pay for favors like most Cincinnati businesses.

Thanks Crowley for the fair shake to a small minority business.

The Ritz has never had anyone shot inside their club, unlike Club Motions on Pete Rose way and Vito's in Roselawn.

Vito's has three people shot and one person murdered inside their club, where are the cires to shut them down. Motions had 1 shooting, and also several women drugged and date raped by one of the owners, where are the cires to shout them down?

Just curious!

Why is no one insinuating payoffs to city leaders for keeping the Galbraith Road on/exit ramps open after McCluskey Chevrolet complained about the closure hurting their business?

3:40 PM
Anonymous Anonymous said...

On the question about the exit/entrace ramps near McCluskey: Besides that organization, among others, there has been a round of support for keeping those avenues open from local community leaders, neighbors, social and political organizations from Hartwell to Wyoming, College Hill, and portions of Winton Woods. It is frequently used by so many that the hubbub was probably felt by both the city and with the Ohio Department of Transportation. They may have a better clue as to where this matter was stalled. These were matters asked of people running for various political offices in the county during the primary. Even people in the areas of Mt. Healthy had concerns there.
