Grab a paper, get to Section B, front page. "Some of the city's morst influential business, political, community and educational leaders plan..."
But none of these entities are specifically indentified in the article.

I hear that something is going to break in the police investigation into Dale's checks. I was told by Friday or at the latest Monday.

131 Days out and they are still conducting interviews. Do you people honestly believe that they are going to prosecute this case?
The only reason that they are claiming to do anything is because people were complaining to the Sheriff and they didn't want him to sniff into it.
In terms of evidence, what more would they need? Why would they wait for months to interview people that witnessed the events?
The people that are getting interviewed now are people that complained. To placate those complaints they will interview as many people as they can to drag out the investigation past the November elections.
Justice delayed is justice denied, and you people are falling for it.

Kaiser Soze, there's far more dastardly criminal activities that are investigated much longer than 131 days. Some dude busted into a bunch of phone trucks & that's still an open case, for 2 years now. Murder files stay open forever or until the hitman is caught. 131 days is typically done on a bulk trafficking-shipment drug charge on thugs who have been sent up at least twice previous.
Actually, this is quick for a fraudilent financial scheme & the wholesale draining of an account. Who knows? Some of the folks who have already been interviewed could go yet another round. Ditto for the people lined up to talk. I'd rather have the CPD investigators be thorough & complete than a slap-dash thing & that slug Jail4Dale walks.
A theory, a thought, the investigators might have had one hell of a time trying to get a line on the WECC books. Dale isn't going to surrender them without a fight. I don't know & I'm sure you don't, how far back the investigators went in the bank records. Dale took office in 2001, or around that time. Financial institutions can't always produce archives that far back in 60, 90 days. It takes 28-30 days to get your previous month's statements with copies of the cancelled checks, for heaven's sake.
I want to believe something good is going to prevail before the election. People continue to apply the pressure.
Right now, this is still a relatively free city, until 3M starts ratcheting up the oppression of those who speak out against him & disagree with him. You still have the freedom to believe what you will.
I have the strong sense the honest folks who have been aggrieved will prevail. With all my heart, I believe in the Truth Squad & their relentless quest for justice. In my soul, I want to continue to trust & believe in CPD. In my community, I'm the guard of their back door.

Why is the Mayor so deadset in having a security detail? Is he really in danger? Is he just giving away a plum pension to his friend? He sure is close with the CPD. If Dale Mallory doesn't get a real investigation I will lose faith in the CPD.
You can't face the fact that there is no investigation because there is no crime. People aren't buying the lies that are sold by the hate-Mallory crowd.
Dale Mallory is the President of the West End Community Council. Shirley "Sellout" Colbert and Robert "Republican" Killins are head of the fake West End Council, or as Dale likes to say "The Shirley Colbert Fan Club" Take your pick. Dale was authorized to make those expenditures. The facts are on his side, which is why we have no police investigation. I have seen the records.
The Empowerment Zone got their funding back after the initial City investigation because they realized the polictical lies. The Mayor had nothing to do with it. The real crime is that the City has failed to fund the EZ like they promised. They spend millions on stadiums and the banks but they won't keep their promise to poor black people. They should be held accountable.
You people have attacked the Beatty family and driven them out of business. Successful black people threaten you. You don't want a black owned business making money and you don't want a black man like Dale Mallory in the statehouse. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
The truth is that people like the Beattys and Mallorys represent the black community.

Regarding Dale's WECC. Where and when do they meet?
The "Shirley Club" meets the 3rd Tuesday at Lincoln Center. There are minutes, treasurer's reports and 30-50 people in attendance each meeting.
Killins is the name listed in City Hall as WECC President.
Dale's relinquished his claim when he dropped his appeal case.
At least 3 detectives are working the case against Dale. The check is just a small part of it.

According to one cop I worked with yesterday on a different matter, then asked about this, there is more surrounding this concern than the checks. There are other elements that figure in with the whole mix, including 'playing float' with funds. That's where one
needs some dough, borrows from the kitty, replaces the borrowed amount later when one is flush with cash. choices were made by D4S. Some of the choices were made under pressure from insiders; others came from the confines of Detroit to pressure matters. DBM is likeable and amiable, but his use and abuse of vulnerable people (especialy women), much like his Dad,is a convenience he has used too long that he became too cocky.
Taking people for granted has uprooted a lot of kingdoms.
N8 gets little dialogue on his site so he uses the Dean and this forum's good graces to spew his venom. His stirring is of no consequence to what the TS is working on. As long as people ignore the corrosive sound and fury that signifies nothing and focus on what we need to do as average citizens to improve our neighborhoods we will be fine. N8 is just shilling and spilling his guts to be a good relative to the Mallorys. He only represents self and no versed group. He can only pander hate at this point in his life mixed with few real remnants of truth.

I am a new reader to this blog. I must say that I normally try to avoid politics but the work that you are doing is cannot be ignored. You are providing a valuable service to our City and challenging those that need challenged the most. I was in Council chambers yesterday and heard 4 people speak on the Empowerment zone and the links to Dale Mallory. I was shocked at the things that I heard. I went home and did a google search On Dale Mallory and this blog came up. I have spent the last 4 hours reading the history of this blog and I must say that I cannot believe my eyes. Thank you Thank You Thank you for caring enough to stay and fight! I wish my neighborhood had the passion that you all do. I look forward to whatching this as it unfolds. I am also inviting my friends to visit this site.

Dale Mallory signs are posted on several vacant/boarded up buildings in the West End. Get this, two of the property owner's discovered the postings and are pissed off - cursed Mallory to high hell (not in his presence). Mallory is posting his political signs on buildings without permission. Not to worry, said property owner's have something cooking.
Question for the Truth Squad:
If Dale Mallory got charged with a felony today when would his court date come up? It seems to me that even if he gets charged he will claim the truth will "come out in court" and then wait until after the election for the court date and the settlement.

The police took a couple months off this investigation because they were afraid of an "appearance of a conflict of interest" (WTF)? The fact that they took months off the case is the real conflict of interest when you have an open and shut case.
They are stretching it out until the point that it isn't going to affect the election. At least Anon 6:37 gets it. This case will never get to court before the election, and that is what they always wanted.
It amazes me that the folks of the "truth squad" even stand for this. They are getting anon 2:31's 'story' next week. Several other people are awaiting interviews? They are going to be interviewing for weeks more. And for what?
Like they give a damn about what you people think. You think an investigation can't go forward without the police having your story? These people have had copies of the checks for months.
I wonder how many months it would take to arrest any one of you for check fraud. I wonder if they would try to push the investigation off to another agency. I wonder if they would waste the precious time of detectives by interviewing half the community when they had copies of the cancelled checks and proof already in their possession.

For example, let's say DBM is a mere mortal. If he were charged & arrested today, he could appear at the Saturday arraignment desk, the latest on Monday. 7 to 10 days out, he'd have his Grand Jury indictment hearing. 2-3 days later, he'd appear in Room A to get the report of the decision of the Grand Jury.
In about 5-7 days, he'd get his Common Pleas Judge assignment. In roughly another 5-7 days, he'd have his first court date with this Judge.
Then the games start. His attorney could then drag this out. It's in the State's & the police's best interests to fast track & put the afterburners on collecting all shreds of Discovery (evidence), so DBM's attorney has to come up with some solid, concrete reason to continue stalling.
I believe if we can get a Grand Jury indictment as late as Halloween & the media does a sensational splash, the election would be over that day. All that would be left is the shouting for Kim Hale. By the time the felony case got rolling, the votes will have been counted. And the Mallory Mob can whine & cry all they want. Nothing will change the outcome of the voting numbers.
My feeling is that a Grand Jury Indictment will take care of this entire ball of wax. Then the proceedings can take place 2 years (not out of the question) from now. Frankly, if DBM had any balls after being indicted, he would step away.

I am here to address my strong concerns about the Cincinnati Empowerment Zone and how it’s hired consultants have sought to undermine the very communities the CEZ was meant to serve. My examples relate the CEZ and it’s involvement with the CityLink project.
Let’s start with Empowerment zone consultant Dale Mallory: I understand CEZ Executive Director Harold Cleveland testified recently in this chamber that only about 1% -3% of Dale Mallory’s time was spent on CityLink. This testimony was not accurate. Here is a complete stack of Mr. Mallory’s invoices to the CEZ. The pink tabs represent work Mallory did for Citylink. The orange tabs represent West End Community Council Work. In fact during the 4 month run-up to the Citylink project, about 1/3 of Dale Mallory’s time was spent on Citylink. Another third was spent on what was suppose to be “volunteer” duties as the West End Community Council President, and yet all of this was billed to the CEZ and payment was approved by Executive Director Harold Cleveland.
Another CEZ consultants was Kathleen Norris. She was paid over $30,000 for a couple months consulting. Kathleen Norris is infamous for repeatedly unplugging the microphone at the December West End Community Council Meeting. She only stopped this disruptive ploy when ordered to by Cincinnati Police. When I directly asked Ms. Norris who was paying her, she replied she was “just a friend of Citylink.”
Currently Marcus Jenkins is trying to secure a consulting contract with the CEZ. He has been an outspoken advocate for Citylink. Along with Dale Mallory, Jenkins filed a lawsuit centered around Mallory’s Community Council Impeachment and involvement with Citylink. In this suit Mallory and Jenkins sued ministers in the West End, the Cincinnati Police, the Hamilton County Sheriff, and many residents in the West End. To qualify as a plaintiff in this suit, Mr. Jenkins claimed he was a resident of the West End. In truth, Marcus Jenkins resides in Bond Hill.
The residents in Over-the-Rhine, the West End, and Clifton Heights, all CEZ neighborhoods, have spent tens of thousands of dollars defending themselves against Citylink. And then we discover much of Citylink’s work was being performed by CEZ consultants. Why do we have to prevent the CEZ from underwriting projects which the communities do not want? How can we stop cronyism and corruption at the CEZ which undermine our communities? Why was the CEZ re-funded? Can we please get this council’s help on these issues?

My comments relate to death threats made by Empowerment Zone Board Members at the January and February WECC meetings, and the attacks on my property since I asked questions regarding EZ Board membership improprieties.
At least 3 EZ Board members attempted to control these crucial community council meetings.
One of the Board members threatened to kill me and others if we didn't keep quiet.
In addition to this, at least 3 EZ consultants attempted to silence WECC members.
In early July I attended the EZ Board meeting and asked several questions regarding the legitimacy of several Board members. My questions have never been answered.
Since I asked these questions, I have had 2 burglaries and 3 additional acts of vandalism on my property.
I witnessed the 2nd burglary and followed the burglar on foot 1/4 of a mile. He went directly to the home on a high ranking EZ board member.
Since then, the WECC body chose me to replace the City Hall Killer, Howard Beatty to be the WECC representative on the EZ Board.
My observations and preliminary conclusions are:
Some EZ Board memberships violate term limit, nepotism and conflict of interest issues that are spelled out in EZ Regulations.
Transparency issues are pervasive and have not been resolved.
The promised city directed operational and financial audits have not even started.
The relationship between the Executive Committee, Mr. Cleveland and EZ beneficiaries is truly disturbing. This subject could take hours.
Mr. Mayor, I don't have a personal bodyguard and I fear for my safety.
The evidence of EZ corruption and ineffectiveness is overwhelming, and yet the City Manager turns on the funding on his first week on the job.
Please launch a full-scale investigation and either clean up or shut down this troubled program.
Woo Hoo! This is the most powerful testimony I've heard since Rick Gibson brought it all home with his closing arguments in the Howdy the Hitman voluntary manslaughter case.
Hopefully, that confounded City Council will buck the trend, get up off their duffs & get 'er done!!

Update on case 06CRB437, failure to make City Tax Returns. Kenny's got this case continued out from yesterday. It's now scheduled for 10/24, Set for Plea.

Folks, you'll recall this is where the off duty Deputy located Howdy the Hitman's gun after the City Hall murder. The humble abode of Oralinda & her man, George "Junebug" Beatty.
It's a tax-abated piece of property, friends. How much sweeter can that be?
However, in 2005, the County Treasurer certified the property DELINQUENT for tax arrearages. That's right. It's now to the tune of $1,132.98. Yes, it's a small piece of change when compared to other tax delinquent properties.
But, the payments are only a sneeze over $300 every 6 months!!! Don't we all wish we had payments that paltry! I certainly do.
Oralinda & Cockroach couldn't get themselves around income tax payments & property tax payments. But Oralinda could strut in the Court House with a pricey Louis Vuitton handbag. You don't buy those things for $10 at the Blue Light Special in K-Mart. Oh no. Then, at Howdy's sentencing, she appeared in slutty pink boots, walking bent-kneed with her huge caboose swinging like a screen door in a hurricane. Her Mom didn't teach her how to walk properly in stillettos. Shame on Mom. Shame on Big Oralinda.
Remember, she's collecting a cushy EZ paycheck, part of that 68% administrative ratio, which we've all determined is guzzling off the taxpayers.
And speaking of Kenny, he learned yesterday that a Murder appeals case went down the drain. The dude is in 18 to life. The appeals brief was something the Drama Dwarf created for his GED English composition class. It just sucked out loud. Gosh, even the folks over at the HNIC are trashing him ridiculously. Law Dawg my foot. Walks around with his weenie in a sack. It doesn't get any more pitiful than that.
For now, don't bother to look at for the pic of the Eastern Ave. property of Big dented Fender. The Hamilton County folks didn't leave enough feed for the gerbils over the weekend.

FILE: Updates on Kenny Lawson
Case A 0601611, Nat'l City Bank v. Kenny. On 9/28, Judge Niehaus granted the bank's motion for summary judgment to collect on an installment loan. Kenny has to cough up $127,035.27 plus 7.99% interest from 1/21/06.
Oh gawd, don't bust a gut here (I tried not to laugh because there's paybacks for giggling over another's misfortune). The installment loan was for the Sea Ray boat & the boat motor that the IRS absconded & auctioned off to get their overdue money!
A060351 - this is the Vinnie Clark case. A 2nd order to compel Discovery has been issued to Lawson. He ignored the 1st one in August (too busy on the Howdy case). Kenny dicked over Clark & his buddy on representing them on a matter where they were misidentified & fingered by an unethical bail bonds shark & because of this bad info, the police erroneously picked them up. Lawson agreed to take the case, the dudes plunked their dough down & he screwed them over.
A0601268 - a motion for summary judgment is due 10/10, where Lawson messed over some old man whose wife died as a result of a personal injury incident. This is the 2nd time this poor man has been jerked around by questionable attorneys. He's asking for 175 Grand on behalf of his wife's estate & 35 Grand for himself.
The case with his landlord on where he's living will start up again next year.
Then he lost that appeals case on that murderer. Judge Hendon punched all sorts of holes in that case & got 2 other Judges to go along with her. The killer is in for 18 to life.
I guess the Howdy the Hitman case is his big claim to fame.
And this loudmouth a$$bag thinks he's going to get a Judge's Bench in Muni Court???!!! Oh, I don't think so. All the dirt he's done to others is finally coming back around for payment.
