A Truth Squad contributor has informed us that several callers to Bill Cunningham's show on 8/24/6 had some interesting perspectives on the Howard Beatty story.
A caller named "Tom" told his story of the Beatty threats to kill West Enders.
Another caller from Avondale claims Howard was the patsy behind the Mallory Mafia plot to kill Kabaka. The General was about to spill the beans on EZ corruption and the Mallory/Beatty complicity. I listened to the show....it's an eye opener. The TS message is below:
" Go to the WLW podcast page, scroll down to Bill Cunningham 1st hour with Joe Deters. Move the bar over to 18:25 and play. At the end Willie asks his producer to mark the tape in case anything happens to Tom. The second hour our good friend Leslie Ghiz was on and a caller from Avondale ties Kabaka's killing to his knowledge of the EZ and his willingness to expose the Beatty's and Mallory. That's a new twist, but we all know that $30 million has gone some where in the last 6 years. Who better to help themselves to some of it than these pigs at the trough.

If the mallorys/Beattys can get away with murder, who's going to worry about D4S stealing the WECC treasury?
We should all worry about the dereliction of duty to protect and defend citizens. Does not seem Kathy Harrell at FOP has any more clout than Roberts or Fang. Same old matters of looking the other way. High road in our police ranks?

What has happened to this blog? It seems to have lost its luster. Is the truth squad still in business?
Strickland ( State) , Dale Mallory (State), Dave Pepper (county), Mark Mallory (City) This could be the year for the Dems. This would be a huge upset for the republicans. I predict that we will see more CityLinks poping up all over the State after this election. You can count on your taxes going up, your rights going away, limited access to politicians, and red light cameras. You think businesses have left Ohio just wait until its controled by liberals. As you know Male Dallory took a well deserved rest.
While a few TS people are minding the store, we miss MD's energy.

Mina, thanks for letting the Truth Squad know about this. I think someone posted info about it right after Kabaka was murdered. I haven't had the time to go over & take a look, but it's nice to know how black folks really gauge different things going on in this city.
I was told that the folks had serious discussions & logical thoughts on the Kabaka-Beatty mess.
It's nice to know that the Truth Squad is in discussion. It can only help Kim Hale's election in the 32nd.
Wolverine jr: has anyone talked to Kathy Harrell about this? I don't think the Police Chief really wants to get into this. I think at this point, he's a bit sick of being called a bigot. It seems to me he'd rather follow what the DOJ/Collaborative tells him to do. Anyone talked or heard from Deters' boys yet?
Note to Tim Burk: you're doing a great job & there are those of us who will help you on the topics.

I talked to the Deter contacts you gave me.
So far just lip service.
Also talked to the Asst Chief when I bumped into him at City Hall.
Some Council members are getting the message and are seeing the Mallory corruption.
The FBI/HUD probe is still alive.
The EZ funds are turned on....but they are still under HUD/FBI investigation as is Dale.
The Drama Dwarf boasts EZ is clear....but I'm talking to the principle investigators. Stumpboy is full of s**t as usual.

Anonymous 1008 don't bail yet. These zones came out of Federal monies all over the nation. Locally, ours is known as a 'special program' due to Bill Sr. work in low down and high places. Columbus has one and the bi-state divide on the WVA(Huntingdon) and OH (Ironton) border has been going for quite a few years. Not nearly the amount of money the local "religious" poverty pimps rake in.
Vlad's right that blood is still in the EZ water. Too many letters going to the same places from too many zip codes that live, work and play in the land of EZ. I'm not fond of Blackwell and his work on voter supression and usually support a broad Dem ticket. If all Dems won except for Hale in the 32nd it would clean some heads real quick.
Charterites and Dems being snubbed by the Mallory Mayors office would get a better reception with Hale in the House. Burke Democrats never support their Dems downstream closer to home. Where folks like Portune,Pepper, Barrett and even Mallory at one time picked their constant support was from the grassroots, folkks like Colbert and crews helping. Cleaning the 3M house by blocking Dale will put some spirit back in City Hall. Then the little guy might be able to get questions answered.

Now, I see what you are really all about. You are obviously just a disaffected right-wing rethug who not only doesn't want it in her neighborhood, she doesn't want it anywhere. Bad idea. What have Rethugs ever done for you? If you're a normal, middle-class citizen, they haven't cut YOUR taxes. I actually thought this was a non-partisan blog, devoted to what is right for the coummunity, even the support of Cheryl Hale. But I see that it is not. Too bad.
