Idiot Lawson asks for second continuance
Got back a bit ago from the courtroom. Dale Mallory sure hired the right lawyer. Ken Lawson just asked for his second continuance in the case, claiming that he did not have enough time to respond to the motion to dismiss that was filed.
A continuance isn't a big story, unless you consider that the purpose of this whole suit is to have some sort of emergency temporary restraining order that would restore Dale Mallory as West End Community Council President. They claim in the suit that the judge has to act immediately, then they ask for more time as soon as they see the gunboats in the water.
And Nate Livingston considers the judge granting a continuance a great victory for the Mallory camp. Given the string of defeats (CityLink, Impeachment, Losing the Endorsement battle), I can see how the Mallory camp can look at a continuance with great favor.

Some things you missed:
1) Dale DROPPED charges against Cincinnati Police (too embarrasing wasteing more taxpayer money to defend this frivolous suit).
2) DROPPED criminal charges against Shirley and Jackie...his butt's on the line for serious consequences for that spurious move.
3) ADDED the outrageous charge that WECC dues are an illegal POLL TAX!!!! Give me a break...these guys are looney tunes.
4) Newman's going to depose Dale next Tuesday. Let's see Dale squirm under oath......Think Martha Stewart and Bill Clinton.....Esther Williams, bring your blue dress and cigars for DNA testing.
Dale Mallory wins again. I didn't see that case dismissed, so what is the excuse now, white boys?

Dale Mallory is still the President of the West End Community Concil. He got one step closer today in court, and you bitter white people can't do anything about it.
I will also commend CityLink for appealing. The West End has always been the best place for CityLink. It was the only location that offered all 9 of their criteria, and they did years of research.
Wasn't it already proven that, because the WECC is a non-profit corporation, they aren't subject to the 24th amendment?

Oh N8ball is really blowing his bullhorn over on his blog about a mere overruling on a Motion to Dismiss. Heck, that happens to crack dealers on a daily basis. He's all hyper calling it an embarrasing defeat & a win for Dale. If this is the best Dale can do for wins, wish the crook well, because this is all he's going to get. However, this continuance business & the overruling is a real big story with N8.
Anon 4:56 you're correct in that WECC, like all neighborhood community councils, are not-for-profit. They are subject to the statutes under the 24th Amendment.
Community Council dues are NOT a poll tax. That money, as we all know, go into the general fund & are only to be dispensed at the direction of the general membership by a full disclosure & vote. (However, some councils scoot around this by having their "Executive Boards" make the decisions, something I've bitched about & made mouth noises for years, which worried the bejeezes out of some asshole community council people.)

Kenny Lawson is famous for asking for continuance after continuance. This guy doesn't have his act in high gear. There's another attorney in this county who's just a bad. It's a pair to beat a full house. It's no wonder we've got crack rats & gun boyz running at will. And they know which incompetent attorneys to hire.
Genesis Redevelopment Part 2
Memo to Dale: Liar! Liar! Pants on fire!
Genesis Redevelopment is still in business, despite the public statement Dale4Sale made in June, 2001 when he took (bought?) the presidency of WECC. He stated basically that he was going to completely scrap Genesis.
Genesis Redevelopment has an office at 1087 Mound Street, Suite 4, corner of Mound & Clark.
In 2002, the Ohio Secretary of State sent Genesis a howdy-doody, explaining the license registration on the not-for-profit was due to expire. It lapsed. The company received its reinstatement 9/30/02, to expire 9/30/07. Jackie Shropshire signed the reinstatement papers as President of Genesis.
Since then, Caleb Brown represented Genesis on a breach of contract on rent (small claims) back in mid 2003.
The Secretary of State considers a corporation operational until dissolution papers are filed in that office.
1087 Mound Street is owned by 1087 Mound Street & Associates, with the tax bill going to Model Management. 1087 Mound Street & Associates is a registered fictitious name with the Secretary of State. Surprise! A legal paper company!!! The fictitious name was renewed in July, 2001. It is set to expire 9/12/06.

(Maybe some of you bloggers have heard of Keidel & Smith. They’re unknown to me.)
On thing I noticed that was interesting was that there aren’t any updated filings for Genesis Redevelopment. That sleazy Shropshire didn’t file amended papers on Genesis’ principals. Even more telling is that seeing Shropshire is 6 feet under, no one, including a long time associate, Gloria Hemmingway, has bothered to make current their records with the State. So much for doing business legitimately.
There might be some missing links here. Dale was “hired” in Dec. 1999 as the Executive Director. Did he depart? When did he depart?
Then in 2002, here’s a Mallory Mafia reprobate, Jackie Shropshire, signing papers claiming to be the President of Genesis. Makes one wonder what Dale4Sale & Shropshire were really doing with this Genesis – utilizing it as a front for something else?
If Genesis has dissolved, why haven’t they closed out their operations with the Secretary of State? Seeing they are still in the swing of things according to governmental records, who exactly is running the show?
Sorry this took so long. I was given some info & I wanted to check the accuracy through the state records.

When you get the chance & the TV News will run it to death - watch the City Council clip very carefully. And I mean very carefully. The council people are stunned & looking around. One individual stands, er, sits, er hunches down. It's very obvious.
That's when I deduced that not only was this a planned murder attempt on Kabaka, it was ordered.
Dale's going to have plenty to wiggle & squirm about over the next several months. Who knows? This just could spell the end of a crooked dynasty!
